Event Details:
The Vernon Community Arts Centre is excited to offer a broad range of classes for homeschool students in a studio setting! All classes are taught by our Youth Instructor and Emily Carr graduate, Samantha Hesketh.
Our program for youth ages 4 - 6 runs on Fridays from 9:30am-10:30am (no class February 16). Sign up for one class or sign up for them all!
WINTER CLASS SCHEDULE:
January 12th Printmaking: Learn and experiment with making your very own prints.
January 19th Abstraction: We will cover the basic ins and outs of this unique style of art.
January 26th Clay Tiles: Build and decorate your own clay tile!
February 2nd Mixed Media: Learn how to mix together different mediums to create your very own artworks.
February 9th Make a Mask: Design and create your very own mask!
February 23rd Watercolour Painting: Learn to use watercolour while creating your own masterpiece!
March 2nd Clay Snake Pencil Holder: Learn the basics of hand building with clay while creating a snake pencil holder.
March 9th Art and Nature: Learn how nature and the world outside can help inspire beautiful works of art!
March 16th Mark Making: Get started putting marks down on paper and learn how they can turn into unique finished products.
